TAPE of another kind. SuckUK USB mix tape

I thought i might expand the 'tape' definition to include analog music tapes of the yesteryear. These USB mix tapes from SuckUK are great, actually i got one myself with my favourite 80s tunes on it. A great, thoughtful and quirky present. Arguably the perfect gift.

They come in a range of colours with a range of stickers and look genuinely old school.

Azumi and David

London based Azumi and David studied fashion at Central Saint Martins, London. They are a married couple who design some very nice things including this amazing tape of particular interest to me.

To see more of their lovely lovely items, visit their website: www.azumianddavid.com

Watch and jewellry tape done in an illustrated etched design. There seem to be a range of different designs available from their on-line store.

Buttons and Dials

A celebration of the analogue, a compilation of photos I found.

Old typewriter keys

Dials on a music mixer

Sony Walkman

More walkmans

Buttons on some kind of control panel with speaker grill in cool shape too. The functions of the buttons are distinguised only by colour.

An old fashioned plastic telephone with quick buttons on the base. For very important executives only.

Wall telephone in portugal.

Commodore 64?

TV like the one we had when i was a kid

Another control panel with analog dials

Air conditioning control dials.

Telephone Buttons. I like flash, redial, hold.

Colourful LEDs, buttons, switches and dials as well as scrolling number displays. All bordered by thick black lines and colour coded for extra efficiency.

Looks like a super duper telephone switchboard or the like. Sorry that this is not tape. I promise not to do it again.
