PAUL FARREL

Paul Farrel is a Bristol based graphic designer who is doing some really nice stuff - including .... TAPE! His simple but striking graphic silhouette style translates perfectly onto tape. Check out the rest of his designs including prints, tea towels, badges and cards. www.paul-farrell.co.uk

LUXIRARE - KILLER CLOTHES AND FINE CUISINE

Mixing a bit of fashion with a bit of food is just my thing. This is a great site... and even better as they do tape as well. It would be quite nice to get my hands on some of this! The photography on this site is particularly stunning.

RECLAIMED SPORTS FLOORING IN A LONDON FLAT

The floors shown here are in a Hackney flat and are made from recycled/reclaimed sports court flooring such as from a basketball or volleyball court. The primary coloured markings appear like cute little oddly placed pixels when the flooring is layed in a random way.

I like it.

SPIDERS WEB TAPE INSTALLATION

Dudecraft has posted this tape installation. It looks like a huge spiders web made from clear packing tape.

I couldn't really find out much more about it aside from the fact that its installed in a pretty amazing building. If anyone has any tip offs please email me - like the name of the artist and gallery.

I'd love to see a huge gaffer tape spider accompany this... come down and eat that man.

No.7 SUB AT THE ACE HOTEL IN NEW YORK

Truly amazing subs from this place in the Ace Hotel... not to mention a nice bit of tape printed with little submarines and made from waxy, papery tapey stuff.

Its worth a visit if you are in NY and in the neighbourhood.

THE MONTREAL MUSEUM OF FINE ART

I took these photos a couple of weeks ago in Montreal. Just a little tape installation at the Museum of Fine Art. I don't mean to insinuate that the tape installation was part of the 'fine art', but more like it was used to disguise an ugly bit off to the right of the building as a modern design feature.
